The same report from Sky Sports claims the Anfield hierarchy will pay as much as £5.1 million for the youngster's signature, but it appears that he will be loaned back to Red Star for the remainder of the campaign.

With a great deal of pace and natural ability, Grujic looks set for a bright future in the game. Both a creator and scorer of goals, he should only go from strength-to-strength over the coming years.

Immediate plan

While Grujic is one for the future, the Reds faithful will understandably be hoping to see Klopp improve his squad in pursuit of success this season.

As it stands, Liverpool are failing to produce the goods in the Premier League, currently sitting in eighth position in the division.

Klopp appears to be reluctant to add to his side, but will have to make one or two additions if he is serious about securing a top-four finish this season.
