Klopp's three-word fury

Jurgen Klopp is nothing if not a colourful character. The German has admitted he spoke just three words to his Liverpool team after their dismal defeat at the hands of West Ham and, though he didn’t confirm what those three words were, it’s safe to assume he was livid with his delivery.

"I only told the players three words after the game,” Klopp said.

“But we [will] have to speak about it again, because it was not the worst game I ever saw in my life.”

The Reds were feeble in their attempts to best West Ham at the weekend and will have to be far better if they’re to qualify for the Champions League next season.

Klopp will have the chance to change things in the January transfer window, of course.

Grujic deal almost done

On that note, the man who could become Klopp’s first 2016 purchase is Marko Grujic of Red Star Belgrade.

The 19-year-old has apparently confirmed on his Facebook that he will sign for Liverpool today, with Sky Sports claiming as much as £5.1 million will be paid in the deal.

Let us know what you think of that transfer in the comments box provided.

Here's a little insight into what he's capable of:

Carragher wanted Ozil signature for Liverpool

Lastly, Jamie Carragher has confirmed that he wanted Liverpool to sign Mesut Ozil back in 2009, and he told former teammate Steven Gerrard as much at the time.

The Anfield hero, now a pundit for Sky Sports, revealed that he was impressed by Ozil before the German signed for Real Madrid, admitting he believed Liverpool should have taken the opportunity to grab his signature when they had the chance.
