Does anyone really know the real Vince McMahon?

The WWE Chairman is a complex character who is constantly speculated about by wrestling fans and dirt sheets alike.

Former WWE star Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) recently spoke in an interview with Sam Roberts and gave a glimpse into what VKM is like behind the scenes.

According to the report, via Wrestling Inc, MVP started off as saying that was a pretty fair boss who's door was definitely open for dialogue about a wrestler's character or storyline.

"I'd have to say, more often than not, [McMahon]'s fair. And a lot of the stuff that we did with MVP was a lot of stuff I had input in. I created the character and I pitched it to them. It was cool because there was a point where I had an open door invitation to Vince's office."

Porter then went on to add that McMahon actually prefers it when his wrestlers get mad and demand changes.

"Vince likes a guy with balls. If you go to him and you take charge of your career and say, 'hey Vince, this is how I feel,' he might not agree with it, and the presentation counts for a lot too, I'm sure, but the squeaky wheel gets the oil."

MVP went on to speak about Vince originally liking his character for a long time, McMahon letting him and Matt Hardy into his office to speak, and his eventual release. Check it out on the Sam Roberts wrestling podcast here.
