Ozil handed award
In more credible news, Mesut Ozil has been named PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for December, securing the award for the second consecutive time.
The German managed another five assists and one goal in that span, adding to his already impressive tally for the season.
And, to finish, Wenger gave Arsenal fans something to chew on yesterday when he recalled youngster Serge Gnabry from his loan spell with West Bromwich Albion.
It’s thought Gnabry will be sent out again this month, potentially to a Championship outfit, in a bid to get more game time under his belt. The 20-year-old had failed to convince Tony Pulis of his worth or ability.
