Neymar, like the former Barcelona star Ronaldinho, is a true Brazilian showman.

The 23-year-old, whether it’s during matches or out on the training pitch, never misses an opportunity to showcase his skills when the cameras are rolling.

So, it was inevitable when, earlier this week, Neymar took the opportunity to impress Barcelona supporters who turned up for an open training session with his own little freestyle. (Scroll down this page to watch the footage of Neymar in action).

The South American showed off a few classy touches during a passing session with Dani Alves before going rogue and doing whatever he fancied - including embarrassing Jeremy Mathieu with a sombrero over the defender’s head.

Neymar is clearly a player who always needs a football at his feet - and hopefully that childhood love for the game will stay with him for the rest of his career.

Neymar on course to become the world's best?

Barcelona fans adore Neymar, who has arguably surpassed Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo as the world’s second-best player over the past 12 months.

Kaka tipped his compatriot to win the Ballon d’Or in the near future earlier this week and it wouldn’t be a shock if he goes on to win he prestigious individual accolade in 12 months’ time.

Neymar currently sits second in the race for the Pichichi - on 14 goals behind teammate Luis Suarez - and is expected to secure second place at the 2015 Ballon d’Or ceremony in Zurich later this month.
