Ighalo open to Old Trafford

Just earlier this week were Arsenal fans scoffing at the prospect of signing Watford striker Troy Deeney, but how about Manchester United signing Odion Ighalo?

Well, the player himself remains open to an Old Trafford switch, it would seem, stating - as per The Sun -  that he wasn’t sure he’d be able to say no if United came calling.

Ighalo said the Red Devils were his team growing up but did insist that he didn’t think he’d be moving on this month.

"I don't think I will be moving but I'm not sure I could say no if United called," he said.

"They were my team growing up. I loved watching Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke.

"They were my idols and playing at Old Trafford has always been a dream."

Januzaj recalled

Meanwhile, Adnan Januzaj’s loan spell at Dortmund is set to apparently end, with the Belgium international having been recalled to Louis van Gaal’s setup.

It’s said United have asked for the agreement to be cancelled because the midfielder isn’t getting enough game time.

No dice in Mane move

Last, but not least, United may be in with a shout of landing Ighalo but they won’t be getting their mitts on Southampton’s Sadio Mane.

The Saints have reportedly told their Mancunian counterparts that the striker is not for sale this month for any price, despite the fact he was recently dropped by Ronald Koeman for the fixture against Norwich.

Mane is said to be confident over engineering a summer move instead. We won’t hold our breath for that, though.
