The notion that things have settled down at Chelsea after the club secured a wonderful 3-0 victory against Crystal Palace last weekend may not be entirely correct.

Why? Well, according to the Mirror, Diego Costa and Oscar have been involved in a furious training ground bust-up.

The report claims that Costa and Oscar, who have both come in for criticism throughout the course of the campaign, had to be separated by teammates and coaching staff at the club’s Cobham HQ.

So, what exactly happened? If the report is to be believed, playmaker Oscar hit his teammate with a heavy tackle, which led to Costa making an even tougher challenge in response.

The duo went on to exchange angry words as they squared up to each other following the tackle from the Spain international.

Chelsea problems

It must be noted, however, that the report goes on to claim that things soon calmed down, with the aforementioned stars later seen heading to the changing room together.

But something is clearly still not quite right in west London. The changing room dynamic is certainly an interesting one and it really could hinder the club in their pursuit of redemption.

Guus Hiddink has made a steady start to his second stint as Chelsea boss, but his work has only just begun. One fine win over Palace doesn't necessarily mean that Chelsea are back.

Costa and Co. still have a great deal of work to do to get the Stamford Bridge faithful completely behind them.

Will Costa find his best form this season? Have your say below!
