The WWE Universe has been going crazy ever since the WWE acknowledged, but did not confirm, the rumors that they have signed four New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) stars AJ Styles, Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson and current IWGP Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.

When it was rumored they were to make their debut at this month's Royal Rumble pay-per-view in the 30-man Royal Rumble itself, the internet went crazy, and now everyone can't wait to see them in action in the WWE.

One superstar has made a personal request to the WWE on his social media for a match against one of the NJPW stars.

Daniel Bryan announced on his Instagram and Twitter account that he is still waiting for the WWE to clear him, and he also retweeted the article which WWE.com released acknowledging the rumored NJPW stars signing news.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Championship hasn't competed in the ring for the company since April last year and there is still no timetable of his return as the WWE is yet to clear him.

However, WWE could just be keeping it all on the down-low for him to make a surprise return at the Royal Rumble later this month.

Simply put, the WWE shouldn't deny the WWE Universe of the opportunity to see a fight between Bryan and Nakamura. Hopefully, the WWE will have cleared the 34-year-old by the Rumble so that he can be entrant number one, and Nakamura can be entrant number two.

That would be a fantastic clash to start off the Royal Rumble!
