Belgium international Eden Hazard is only thinking about Chelsea, according to his father.

As reported by the Evening Standard, the dynamic midfielder appears to be focussed at Stamford Bridge despite enduring a torrid first half of the season in west London.

In fact, his father has insisted that the midfielder still has ambitions to secure a place in the top three with the Blues this season.

Hazard, who had to be replaced against Crystal Palace after picking up an injury last weekend, still hasn't managed to score a Premier League goal this season and has been linked with a huge move to Spanish giants Real Madrid recently. But, according to his father, the player isn't thinking about the La Liga club.

"Eden is at Chelsea and thinks only of Chelsea," the Belgian's father told The Times.

"Even with Chelsea, he has ambitions yet. Win a title might be hard, but the top three is still possible."

Must improve

It was only a few months ago that Hazard was being placed in a bracket just below Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Now, he's failing to prove his credentials and is clearly failing to express himself at Stamford Bridge. For one reason or another, the versatile midfielder just hasn't been able to sustain last season's form.

Chelsea's shambolic season hasn't helped his cause, of course, but fans would have still expected better from their former talisman. It's going to be a very interesting couple of months for the technically gifted star.
