You're probably well aware by now that Espanyol ace Papakouli Diop was sent off against Barcelona during Wednesday's fiercely competitive Copa del Rey clash for aiming an insult towards Uruguayan international Luis Suarez.

Suarez has since been handed a two-game Copa del Rey ban from the Spanish Football Association for his actions in the tunnel following the encounter.

But now Diop's words have come to prominence after referee Juan Martinez Munuera released his report from the game.

In fact, according to a report in Spanish publication Sport, the Senegalese star directed abuse at Suarez, stating: ‘I s*** in your wh*** mother’.

It's not entirely surprising, then, that Diop was handed his marching orders, leaving his team in disarray during the 4-1 defeat.

Focus has since turned to Suarez, of course, with Barcelona hopeful over their appeal to reverse the decision to ban the former Liverpool man.

It's not the first time Suarez has been embroiled in controversy, but he had appeared to improve his attitude since moving to Barcelona.

Suarez will never be able to completely change, but the Catalan faithful will certainly be able to forgive him after his latest indiscretion.

Do you think the decision to ban Suarez will be reversed? Have your say below!
