Last week on social media, Theo Walcott was saying how much he loved the back-bump celebration with Per Mertesacker after an Arsenal victory.

It has become somewhat of a post-match ritual for the two Gunners stars following a win, but Per Mertesacker was not involved in the 3-1 FA Cup third round success over Sunderland.

That was not a problem for Walcott as he picked a supporter out of the crowd and took him on to the pitch to replace the German centre-back.

Theo played the full 90 minutes as the north London side recovered from a goal down to book their place in the next round, thanks to goals from Joel Campbell, Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud.

After celebrating with the fan, the England international gave him his shirt, and, it's fair to say, he looked absolutely delighted.

The whole exchange was caught on camera and you can watch it below.

It has been 35 months since Arsenal last lost in the FA Cup - a 1-0 defeat to Blackburn Rovers - as their love affair with the famous competition continues.

Arsene Wenger will be keen to see his side make it a hat-trick of success' in the tournament. However, his primary focus will be ending the club's long overdue wait for a Premier League title.

The Gunners are in a strong position and the transfer window could be a pivotal moment in their campaign.

Wenger insisted the club would be busy during the month, and they are already close to announcing their first signing; Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny.
