Manchester United prepared to pay £90m for Gareth Bale

Published 1 Comments

To what lengths will Manchester United go to sign a global star this summer? That’s the question being stewed over by fans of the Red Devils, and it appears we have something of an answer. Sunday Times journalist James Ducker revealed over the weekend that United are ready to offer Real Madrid £90 million for their Welsh forward, a sum obviously sufficient to break the world transfer record. Apparently the ground work has been laid to ensure United lead the charge if Bale does decide to leave Spain - we’ll likely have more on that in the future. Elsewhere, United are supposedly happy to sell Marouane Fellaini this month but won’t agree to loaning him out. This comes on the back of rumours suggesting AC Milan want the big Belgian - a deal certainly look viable.
