Minnesota Vikings roasted by the internet after heartbreaking loss

It wasn't even the most crushing playoff loss in the Minnesota Vikings history, but hot damn was Blair Walsh's shanked field goal hard to watch.

For the fans that had spent years waiting for the Vikes to become relevant and several hours outside in sub-zero temperatures, only to be denied in the cruellest of fashions, it was a heartbreaking tragedy.

For every neutral fan watching from the comforts and warmth of their own home, it was time laugh at their expense in the internet's truest art form, memes.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Ricardo Lockette kicked off the fun, rubbing salt into the wounds soon after the game was over with a Steve Harvey joke.

But there was a definite theme of the night and that was the Crying Jordan meme which is probably the G.O.A.T meme when done correctly. And it absolutely was in the aftermath of the brutal loss.

It made its way onto the Vikings helmet...

...the Vikings logo....

...and even on to the ball that went wide left off the boot of Blair Walsh.

That wasn't the end of Walsh's mockery, however, with a Netflix original mocked up of the 26-year-old choke artist.

Twitter is savage and pulls no punches, unlike Blair Walsh, who pulls his kicks when it matters.
