SmackDown's tapings saw a title change on the show, one which will bring excitement to fans as a new feud has taken off in the WWE.

The United States Championship changed hands on Raw this week as Kalisto defeated Alberto Del Rio, but as quickly as it has changed hands, it has gone back again.

According to Wrestling Inc, Del Rio will win the title back from Kalisto this week on SmackDown, which will be his second US title reign, thanks to some assistance from his fellow League of Nations member King Barrett.

Since John Cena was sidelined due to a shoulder injury, many WWE fans wondered who would take his place as the number one contender against Del Rio for the United States Championship, and now, the WWE Universe has their answer in Kalisto.

What makes this feud one of the best currently in the WWE is how it is being portrayed. You can actually invest in someone like Kalisto trying to overcome the odds as he isn't the typical WWE build, due to his size, to win back the US title. It's not a new story, but it is one done with passion, as you can tell in the way he speaks.

It's how a good underdog story occurs, watching him over time build himself up towards eventually winning back the championship. It feels realistic, rather than scripted. Del Rio fills in the heel persona excellently for this as well, which adds to the feud.

It looks like they're set for a match at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view later this month, but here's hoping the WWE builds on this feud and stretches it out further, perhaps even as far as WrestleMania.
