Jorge Mendes trying to get Jose Mourinho Manchester United job

Published 1 Comments

Louis van Gaal would be advised to keep looking over his shoulder as the season draws to a close; Jose Mourinho wants his job. That’s at least the information we’ve ascertained from Spanish newspaper El Confidencial, who say Mourinho’s agent, the infamous Jorge Mendes, is working hard to ensure he is the next man who steps into the Old Trafford dugout as boss. United might instead turn to Pep Guardiola, who is of course free from this summer onwards - but you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled. Elsewhere, Paul Scholes praised the Red Devils for their performance during the 3-3 draw with Newcastle United last night. Scholes said he felt ‘loads better’, comparing Van Gaal’s men to a more traditional Manchester United side. Onwards and upwards.
