UFC fans, or pretty much anyone who’s proud to be Irish, will get to see Conor McGregor in the Octagon once again in two months time when he takes on Brazilian Rafael dos Anjos for the lightweight title. McGregor, fresh from his swift knockout of Jose Aldo, will move up from his featherweight belt, whilst retaining it, to fight Dos Anjos at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on March 5. In typically controversial fashion, McGregor said he would ‘behead’ his next opponent, describing him as an ‘American Gringo’. Holly Holm will fight Meisha Tate at that event as well, stay tuned for more announcements. UFC 197 looks set to be a belter.
