Cleveland Cavaliers beat Dallas in OT for eighth win in a row

The Cleveland Cavaliers needed overtime to beat the Dallas Mavericks in Dallas last night, with a last second dunk from LeBron James forcing the extra period. Kyrie Irving was particularly hot in overtime, bagging a three pointer that helped the Cavs push their noses in front. It was LeBron though who led the scoring with 27 points, enabling Cleveland to extend their winning run to eight. Next up for them are San Antonio, while the Mavs face Oklahoma tomorrow. Elsewhere, Toronto Raptors coach Dwayne Casey has admitted he’s excited about Thursday’s Global Games event in London. Casey said he wasn’t relishing the prospect of facing Orlando, but said the franchise was looking forward to sharing the Raptors brand.
