Arsene Wenger says Real Madrid's transfer ban will not be upheld

Published 1 Comments

Real Madrid fans are busy debating the ramifications their new transfer ban might have, but Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger doesn’t think they should be worrying, because the suspension won’t be upheld. The Frenchman is predicting that Real’s appeal will be successful, saying that they will be allowed to buy in the next two transfer windows. We’re not sure if it’s a vague nod towards possible corruption in FIFA, or just that he think Real have a good case in their defence, what we do know, is that he’s probably right. Moving on, Wenger might gamble on Alexis Sanchez’s fitness for the upcoming Premier League game against Stoke City. The Arsenal boss said the forward had two days to convince him to take the plunge. Fans will certainly hope he’s successful in doing so.
