Wikipedia have named a WWE page in their celebratory 15th birthday list of most-edited English-language pages.

On a Wikimedia blog piece, 'List of WWE personnel' was narrowly pipped to first place by former US president George W Bush, but finished ahead of some of the most famous people of all time.

Bush perhaps isn't a surprise, considering he was named in 2014 as English Wikipedia's most controversial topic. But to see a continually-updated wrestling page appear amongst the likes of Jesus, Adolf Hitler, Barack Obama and Wikipedia itself is quite surreal.

Maybe it says a lot about WWE's hiring and firing nature. Or perhaps it reveals a dedicated fanbase, as the in-depth page is quite a long scroll containing wrestlers, referees, broadcasters, ambassadors, the creative team, ring managers and corporate staff.

The List

Here is the top 15, complete with total edits for that page:

1) George W Bush (45,862 edits)
