YouTube is filled with WWE nostalgia from the Attitude Era; from epic matches and segments, to some of the best commentary quotes you'll ever hear by the likes of WWE Hall of Famers Jim Ross and Jerry 'The King' Lawler.

Some of them have even been mixed with other videos, and they have cemented themselves well within today's pop culture.

According to Wrestling Inc, the former WWE commentator addressed on his blog the rumors that suggested he was on his way to NJPW to replace Mauro Ranallo on the commentary table, who had recently been signed by the WWE to commentate on SmackDown.

He said: "The bottom line is my camp and AXSTV have had talks over the last couple of months and there is a mutual interest to do business together but we have yet to finalize our agreement. As of Saturday morning, I was told that the 'lawyers are reviewing the revised points on the contract.'

"If we can all get on the same page, of which I am optimistic that we can, then we can get everything signed and move forward to another exciting chapter of my broadcasting career. To be able to get back in the game is something that excites me and to be able to call such a fundamentally sound, athletic presentation like NJPW motivates me."

So Ross could once again be back at a commentary table again, this time for NJPW. Time to get excited about some one-of-a-kind play-by-play commentary!

'By Gawd! Somebody stop the damn match!'
