Real Madrid plot move for Neymar after losing patience with Cristiano Ronaldo

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is so fed up with Cristiano Ronaldo that he is planning to sign a replacement superstar. However, the forward he wants just so happens to be one of Barcelona’s most important players.

This is according to The Sun, who understand that the colourful Perez is “plotting a sensational move” for none other than Neymar.

It’s long been rumoured that Perez is a huge admirer of the Brazil international, while Catalan newspaper Sport revealed last month that the Real Madrid chief is “obsessed” with the idea of signing the world-class 23-year-old.

Perez, the report claimed, has even approached Neymar’s father on several occasions in an attempt to arrange a meeting but has been knocked back each time.

Neymar, despite the fact he is yet to put pen-to-paper on a contract extension, has made it crystal clear that he is more than happy playing alongside his pals Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at the Camp Nou.

Neymar has £145m release clause...

But that is not enough to deter Perez from plotting an offer for Neymar, who has a £145 million release clause in his current deal.

Perez fed up with Ronaldo

Sport revealed last week that Perez is fed up with Ronaldo because of his frequent visits to Morocco to visit his friend, Badr Hari, and his lack of hard work in training.

Neymar to Real Madrid? No chance...

But there’s virtually no chance that Neymar would agree to leave Barcelona for Real Madrid, regardless of how much money Los Blancos are prepared to offer.

Neymar has the world at his feet at the Camp Nou and is on course to cement his status as the world’s best player once Messi begins to decline.

Don’t expect him to become the new Luis Figo.
