Chelsea are still trying to make money from Jose Mourinho

Jose Mourinho's face hasn't been seen near Stamford Bridge for over a month now. Chelsea agreed to terminate the contract of the Special One on December 17, meaning the club mega-shop has had plenty of time to rid themselves of Mourinho-based merchandise.

But the manager of said mega-shop clearly has plenty of business acumen. Instead of just throwing out everything with Mourinho's face on it, he or she simply reduced it.

According to a guy on Twitter, you can still pick up a poster of Jose Mourinho from the club shop for the bargain price of just £1. The original price? A massive £5!

That guy, known only as Garry Hayes, saw the poster on a recent trip to the Chelsea shop and knew he had seen something worth writing about. He even tagged Bleacher Report in the original tweet. Are GiveMeSport offended not to get a mention? Yes, we are.

But we found the tweet and we're writing up anyway – partly out of spite, partly because we think it's a pretty funny story.

Mourinho merchandise

But, of course, the Chelsea shop is not the only place you can buy football merchandise with Mourinho's famous mug on it. Even Manchester United fans have been seen buying scarves depicting his image alongside the famous Red Devil logo.

We don't know for sure how much the scarves cost, but considering a poster at a club Mourinho actually managed costs £1, we can only assume that they are worth, well, nothing. Anyway, all the fans love Louis van Gaal now, don't they?
