Arsene Wenger hails 'deadly' Theo Walcott over Arsenal career

Published 2 Comments

Theo Walcott is absolutely deadly compared to 10 years ago, according to Arsene Wenger. The Arsenal boss, speaking on the first time he watched Walcott play, said that his forward had improved greatly in the decade he has spent with the Gunners and he expects him to continue getting better. The first time Wenger watched Walcott the latter was appearing in an FA Youth Cup final with Southampton, describing the diminutive striker as a player who is ‘very difficult to find’. In other news, Santi Cazorla has praised Arsenal’s decision to hand Nacho Monreal a new contract, saying he was a great friend who deserved the deal. It was announced yesterday that the Spaniard will be staying at the Emirates Stadium for the long-term future - let us know what you think about that in the box provided.
