Ben Roethlisberger does not require surgery on injured shoulder

Published 2 Comments

They may have lost to Denver in the playoffs but there’s at least some good news seeping out of camp Pittsburgh - Ben Roethlisberger won’t be undergoing surgery to fix his shoulder problems. The Steelers quarterback has confirmed that he’s been told by Dr. James Bradley to let his shoulder injuries heal naturally now that the season is over for him and his teammates. In his words, he doesn’t foresee any surgeries anytime soon. Now, Denver defensive end Antonio Smith has stoked the fire ahead of this weekend’s clash with the New England Patriots, saying Tom Brady ‘cries’ about getting hit. Smith said he’d never seen any quarterback look at the ref so much after getting sacked - safe to say fans could get to see that a few times this Sunday.
