One of the greatest players to grace a football pitch. Leading scorer in Real Madrid history. Three-time Ballon d’Or winner. Prankster.

It’s the latest title to add to Cristiano Ronaldo’s biography after the Real Madrid forward was caught causing mischief at Real Madrid’s team photo.

The 30-year-old flicked Sergio Ramos’ ear while the defender was enjoying a chat with Madrid president Florentino Perez.

According to the Daily Mail, Ramos saw the funny side but Perez didn’t seem to notice Ronaldo’s antics.

Madrid were taking their official team photo with new manager Zinedine Zidane at the centre of the occasion.

Zidane replaced Rafa Benitez earlier in the month after the former Liverpool boss was sacked.

Great start

Zidane’s start to life in charge of Los Blancos couldn’t have gone any better. The 43-year-old, who enjoyed five seasons as a player at the club, has led Madrid to wins of 5-0 and 5-1.

Judging by the image, Ronaldo is enjoying Zidane’s regime far more than Benitez’s. According to reports, Ronaldo endured a fractured relationship with Benitez. The Independent even claimed that Ronaldo issued a ‘he goes or I go’ ultimatum to Madrid’s board.

More feeling

Ronaldo admitted earlier in the week he had “more feeling” towards Zidane than he did towards Benitez, as reported by the Daily Mirror.

To get the best out of Ronaldo, the Portuguese star needs to feel loved. Sir Alex Ferguson loved Ronaldo - the Portuguese star referred to Ferguson as a “father” figure, reported The Independent. So did Carlo Ancelotti, who Ronaldo compared to a “big bear”, according to ESPN FC.

Ronaldo certainly won’t be receiving an earful from Zidane.
