The WWE Universe was in a state of shock when it was revealed a couple of weeks ago that the company were about to sign some top stars from abroad.

The WWE raided New Japan Pro Wrestling, taking four of their biggest and most popular names, and ever since fans have been wondering just how the company would integrate and use these new superstars.

Well, it seems like we may be getting our first inkling as to what will be happening with one of those stars: AJ Styles.

According to a report from PWInsider, Styles will finally be making his debut in the WWE - and he could be appearing as soon as the Royal Rumble match.

"Styles is set to begin his run with WWE this week as he will be at the Royal Rumble on Sunday, RAW in Miami and then the SmackDown tapings in Tampa," the report stated.

Obviously, this does not mean for certain that Styles will be appearing in the Rumble match itself, but it gives a very good indicator that he debut is coming soon.

In a move that adds more fuel to the fire that Styles' first appearance is coming sooner rather than later, the Phenomenal One is appearing at a Ring of Honor show signing autographs for fans - but he is not allowed to be put on television at all.

This is similar to what happened when the WWE signed Samoa Joe for NXT, leading people to believe that the WWE have finally signed something official with AJ.
