Casio send the Kansas City Chiefs a stop watch to aid their clock management skills

The season is well and truly over for the Kansas City Chiefs and head coach Andy Reid following their loss to the New England Patriots in the divisional round of the play-offs.

The Chiefs put up a great run to end their season, but like so many before them, they fell on their trip to Foxborough.

One big criticism of the Chiefs from the Patriots game was their ability to manage the clock towards the end.

The Chiefs seemed to be in no hurry deep into the fourth quarter despite the fact that they were down by 14 points.

The closing minutes at Gillette Stadium have called into question the clock management skills of Reid and his coaching staff.

While it is likely to be an issue that they will work on over the coming off-season, they have been handed a very interesting offer.

Casio, one of the most famous watch brands in the world have extended their hand to the Chiefs and offered them help with their clock management skills.

They have offered Reid in particular a 'brand new G-SHOCK GA201RD-4A timepiece' to try and help the Kansas City coach manage his time better during the fourth quarter.

"We feel the stopwatch feature, countdown timer and digital watch face will be extremely beneficial for you and your staff during practices and games." - A Casio rep to the Chiefs

This is certainly one of the most incredible stories that will happen this off-season and Chiefs fans can only hope that their coach takes Casio up on their offer.

Better luck next year

Everyone thought the Chiefs season was doomed after they started 1-5 and lost arguably their biggest star in runningback Jamaal Charles.

But an 11 game win streak taking them to the divisional game against the Patriots has given the fans hope for next year.

The Chiefs now have a chance at being a real contender for the AFC Championship next year if they can carry over their terrific play into next season when they get one of the league's best runningbacks back on the field.
