Lazar Markovic scores brilliant goal for Fenerbahce

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp may well have had one eye on the Turkish Cup on Thursday night? Why? Lazar Markovic is why. 

The Liverpool loanee, who departed Anfield in favour of a season-long loan move to Fenerbahce in the summer, has certainly been enjoying himself alongside the likes of Robin van Persie and Nani. 

And last night he had one of his best moments yet in a Fenerbahce shirt.

Indeed, Markovic, who still hasn't scored a league goal this season, found the back of the net in style against Tuzlaspor. 

The 21-year-old, as you can see in the video below, took on his opponent with ease and rifled the ball into the back of the net. In fact, the goal sparked great celebrations as it arrived in the 92nd minute of the match.

Liverpool future

So, does he have a Liverpool future? At this stage, it's hard to say; Klopp would be crazy to completely dismiss the dynamic midfielder. 

Naturally, it's not going to be easy for Markovic on Merseyside, but he's still extremely young and may well progress into a fine player over the coming years. 

Klopp certainly knows how to handle and develop talented youngsters, so perhaps Markovic still has a shot at redemption.
