Aaron Ramsey trolls Tottenham on gameshow

Aaron Ramsey further endeared himself to the Arsenal faithful on Thursday night after revealing what he would do if he became Prime Minister of Great Britain.

The Wales international was asked the question on the popular Sky One gameshow ‘A League of Their Own’.

But while his answer will delight Arsenal fans, Tottenham supporters are unlikely to see the funny side.

“What would your first move as Prime Minister be,” Ramsey was asked by presenter James Cordon.

The midfielder replied: “Relegate Tottenham”.

Ramsey could have chosen Stoke City instead...

Ramsey was no doubt playing to the gallery with his answer - it made everyone inside the studio laugh and Arsenal fans at home will have loved it - the only surprise is that he didn’t choose Stoke City for relegation instead.

Although had he done so, stepping inside the Britannia Stadium in the future would have been an even more unpleasant experience for the Welshman.

Ramsey was booed by the Stoke fans last weekend - something that has, unfortunately, become a regular occurrence since his leg was broken at the Britannia back in 2010.

It doesn’t seem to faze Ramsey too much these days, though.

The midfielder has been in decent form recently and will hope to help Arsenal move another step closer to ending their long wait for the Premier League title by beating Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium this weekend.
