Jack Wilshere in line for new Arsenal contract, Wenger hints

Published 2 Comments

It’s been a frustrating year for Jack Wilshere to say the least - he hasn’t played a single minute of football in a campaign wherein Arsenal look set for some sort of major silverware. Alas, Arsene Wenger has hinted that the England international will be handed a new deal, with the midfielder set for a comeback at the end of February. Wenger said he wanted Wilshere to stay - probably a point of view most fans will agree with. After all, he is a supreme talent when on song, the only difficulty being getting him on the pitch in the first place. Elsewhere, Nicklas Bendtner could be in line for a Premier League return. Before Arsenal fans panic, it’s not to the Emirates Stadium, but Crystal Palace. Alan Pardew has confirmed Palace are looking at the Dane - good luck to them, is all we’ll say.
