Bayern Munich’s Douglas Costa confirmed he is a wizard by producing a gorgeous piece of skill in training.

The 25-year old is joined by team-mates and fellow skill master’s Thiago and Artutro Vidal to produce a highlight reel of flicks, spins and shoulder passes for Bayern’s ‘Move of the Week’ series.

Costa’s effort can already be crowned move of the year.

The Brazilian, a summer arrival from Shakhtar Dontesk, showcased his outrageous talent with a majestic piece of control.

Like, how? The average Joe can’t even pull of a step-over without falling over.

Costa has adjusted to life in Germany with ease, scoring five goals and recording nine assists for Pep Guardiola’s team since moving for £21 million in July.

Four in a row

Bayern beat Hamburg 2-1 on Friday night as they seek a fourth-successive Bundesliga title.

Guardiola’s side are eight points ahead of Borussia Dortmund and have picked up a stunning 49 points from a possible 54.

It will be interesting to see whether the Bavarians can continue their domination of the German league when Guardiola departs at the end of the season.

The former Barcelona manager has confirmed he will leave the club at the end of the season, with a move to the Premier League likely according to reports.

Carlo Ancelotti has the enviable job of being Guardiola’s replacement.

He inherits a team without any glaring weaknesses and an academy brimming with young talent ready to enter the first-team.

One important task for Ancelotti will be keeping hold of Robert Lewandowski. According to The Sun, Real Madrid are lining up a £75 million bid for the Polish striker.

If Lewandowski leaves, at least Ancelotti can rely on Costa to provide the entertainment.
