LeBron James 'surprised' by Cavs' firing of David Blatt

LeBron James has admitted he was just as surprised and caught off guard as everybody else by the Cleveland Cavaliers decision to fire David Blatt mid-way through a season wherein the Cavs sit top of the Eastern Conference. Tyronn Lue has taken charge of the team moving forward - his first game was the loss to the Bulls on Saturday. LeBron said he and his teammates had to respect the decision that was made, whether they liked it or not. Moving on, Carmelo Anthony has entered the top 30 on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. Melo passed Gary Payton during the New York Knicks loss to the Charlotte Hornets at the weekend - there’s no doubting the 31-year-old will be looking to build on the 21,818 points he’s accumulated so far.
