Fellaini, on the other hand, also thinks Van Gaal has harmed his chances of starring for Belgium in the summer.

The Mirror claims that the former Everton man is is annoyed by the Dutchman's refusal to let him depart the club during this January transfer window.

In fact, according to the same report, the Italian trio of Roma, Juventus and AC Milan have taken an interest in Fellaini recently.

However, it appears that the aforementioned clubs have only registered their interest in the towering midfielder over the possibility of a loan deal - something Van Gaal and the Manchester United hierarchy won't entertain.

But how much longer will Van Gaal be in a job at Manchester United? The experienced coach's future at Old Trafford has long been debated, so it looks set to be an interesting period for all involved.

Performances and results just haven't been good enough in Manchester for a sustained period, so the dynamic at the club may well have to change sooner rather than later.
