Even on a GQ photoshoot, Cristiano Ronaldo still finds time for a kickabout.

Victoria Secret supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio, who features alongside Ronaldo on the front cover of GQ’s latest issue, has posted a video of the pair performing keepy-uppys during a break in their photo shoot.

Ambrosio captioned the video on her Instagram page: “Training time with @Cristiano.”

Ronaldo is clearly embracing his celebrity status.

The Real Madrid star has been in the news for the wrong reasons this week after kicking out at Real Betis defender Francisco Molinero on Sunday.

The incident, which Molinero described as an “ugly gesture”, comes a week after Ronaldo kicked Sporting Gijon’s Nacho Cases.

Ronaldo escaped without punishment for the shot at Cases and bizarrely claimed the Gijon midfielder “would not have got up” if Ronaldo had purposely kicked him.

The Daily Mirror have linked Ronaldo with a move to Paris Saint-Germain and former club Manchester United, but Madrid president Florentino Perez insisted to AS on Tuesday that the 30-year-old isn’t leaving the Bernabeu, according to the Daily Mirror.

Transfer ban

Madrid were hit with a transfer ban earlier in the month for breaching transfer rules. The ban forbids them from registering players until the summer of 2017, so it’s highly unlikely Madrid will sell their best player knowing he cannot be replaced.

After training with Ronaldo, it's a shame manager Zinedine Zidane can't sign Ambrosio up.

The video raises another point - does Ronaldo carry a football around with him wherever he goes?
