When the English papers won’t give you what you’re looking for there’s always news from the rest of Europe to devour. German publication Bild claim that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has met with the agent of Swiss star Granit Xhaka, and is eyeing him for a summer swoop. The Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder is currently contracted until 2019 in Germany, so there will be no cheap deal there, but, if we’re being honest, Klopp’s going to have to spend money if he wants to win things.
