While Neymar would appear to have no obvious reason to leave the Camp Nou, the fact the Brazilian is yet to put pen-to-paper on a contract extension is a concern for the Catalan giants and their supporters.
During Barcelona’s Copa del Rey match against Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday night, a banner in the crowd contained a warning for Perez: “Florentino, Neymar is not Figo”.

Luis Figo went from hero to traitor in the eyes of Barcelona supporters after he completed a controversial switch from the Camp Nou to the Bernabeu back in 2000, at the start of first Florentino Perez project.
The Portuguese winger was subjected to all sorts whenever he returned to Barcelona’s home ground, including having a pig’s head thrown towards him while he attempted to take a corner.

Neymar appears to be happy at Barcelona
Neymar could expect similar treatment from the Barça faithful in the unlikely event of him leaving for Los Blancos.
However, the South American star, who looks certain to win the Ballon d’Or in the near future, insists he is more than happy playing alongside the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez and has no desire to leave the reigning European champions.
Reports that Neymar is tempted by a move to Madrid and even met with a representative from the Bernabeu while visiting Zurich earlier this month, for the Ballon d’Or ceremony, appear to be little more than mischief-making rumours.
"The meeting in Madrid is a silly invention,” Neymar’s father was quoted as telling Mundo Deportivo by Goal. "We were all together in the same hotel, the Barca and Madrid parties, and we greeted everyone, but the meeting is an invention.”
