Conor McGregor called out by a furious Jose Aldo

There are only two things on Jose Aldo's mind right now...revenge and retribution.

The former UFC Lightweight Champion was dethroned by Conor McGregor inside 13 seconds after a devastating punch to the jaw and Aldo wants to restore his reputation.

We know this to be true after the Brazilian sent out a message on Facebook yesterday, demanding either a rematch with McGregor or an immediate title shot from the UFC.

Aldo is so desperate to get his hands on McGregor and to try and gain back the legacy that he had carved out for himself, that he is even open for a non-title fight against the Irishman.

"Hi everyone, I was quiet for a while, because I was waiting for my rematch," Aldo said in the post. "In fact, I was already training for it, based on how the fight went down. But apparently I was wrong."

"So I wanted to make something clear to the UFC: for everything that I've done, everything I've accepted, and mostly how the fight ended, I will not accept any other fight other than a title shot," he added.

This is when Aldo went on to call out McGregor...

"My only exception would be fighting Conor McGregor. At any time, anywhere, and since he is scared and knows that I'm gonna win... It doesn't even have to be title fight against him. You can keep my belt. What I want is to whoop your ass."

"Again: any time, anywhere. Dana White Lorenzo Fertitta, keep ur word. I still believe in the company that I work for. ‪#‎rematch,‬" Aldo concluded.

Aldo went 10 years unbeaten in UFC and obviously feels entitled that he has done enough in the company to get some preferential treatment. Whether he gets it or not is another matter entirely.
