Chelsea have pretty much finalised the signing of Alexandre Pato but the club aren’t done with regards to adding to their frontline. Apparently, Leicester City hit-man Jamie Vardy remains on the radar at Stamford Bridge, with the Mirror claiming that Chelsea may offer Loic Remy as a sacrificial lamb in any proposal. Vardy is rated by Leicester at £30m whilst Remy is rated at just £7. We’ll assume the bid from the Blues would be player-plus-cash, we’d also assume it would be swiftly rejected. Only reports from the Mirror at this stage, so nothing concrete. Something that is concrete is Ramires’ departure for China - one that has prompted quite the emotional response. The Brazilian himself posted to Instagram to say his own goodbye to fans. You can see that at GiveMeSport.com/Chelsea.
