Chelsea could offer Leicester City Remy in Vardy deal

Chelsea have pretty much finalised the signing of Alexandre Pato but the club aren’t done with regards to adding to their frontline. Apparently, Leicester City hit-man Jamie Vardy remains on the radar at Stamford Bridge, with the Mirror claiming that Chelsea may offer Loic Remy as a sacrificial lamb in any proposal. Vardy is rated by Leicester at £30m whilst Remy is rated at just £7. We’ll assume the bid from the Blues would be player-plus-cash, we’d also assume it would be swiftly rejected. Only reports from the Mirror at this stage, so nothing concrete. Something that is concrete is Ramires’ departure for China - one that has prompted quite the emotional response.
