Anthony Martial hailed after Derby County clash

Manchester United booked their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup after securing an important 3-1 victory over Championship outfit Derby County this evening.

Goals from Wayne Rooney, Daley Blind and Juan Mata secured the victory for the Red Devils, but there was one man that United fans just couldn't stop tweeting about throughout the tie.

Unsurprisingly, that man was France international Anthony Martial. The club's summer signing from Monaco may not have found the back of the net during proceedings, but he was a constant threat throughout.

With 74 touches of the ball, Martial produced a sublime performance down the left-hand side of the pitch at the iPro Stadium.

In fact, the Frenchman played an important role in United's opening goal as he assisted captain Wayne Rooney, but it was his second assist of the night that really excited the club's faithful.

Brilliant Martial

With a remarkable piece of skill, Martial turned his defender inside out and picked out Spaniard Juan Mata, who found the back of the net with ease.

Of course, it was only against an opponent from the Championship, but the performance of Martial will give United fans hope as they look forward.
