The Toronto Raptors produced an eighth straight victory in the NBA with a 112-94 win against the LA Clippers.

Kyle Lowry and Jonas Valanciunas were chief destroyers for the Raptors with 21 and 20 points respectively as their winning run became a season's best.

In contrast, the Clippers, who saw Chris Paul throw 23 points, have now lost four in a row.

The Oklahoma City Thunder were unable to match the Raptors' run as they were beaten 116-106 by the Brooklyn Nets.

The Thunder had won seven in a row but were undone by a season's best 31 points from Brook Lopez as the Nets led throughout a game that was delayed due to the blizzard that has left New York under several feet of snow.

Trevor Ariza was in sparkling form for the Houston Rockets as they beat the Dallas Mavericks 115-104.

Ariza scored 29 points while James Harden had a triple-double for the Rockets while the Mavericks' Chandler Parsons was the game's top scorer with 31 points.

The Boston Celtics won their rearranged game with the Philadelphia 76ers 112-92.

The game was called off on Saturday due to the weather on the eastern coast and Jae Crowder and Isaiah Thomas scored 20 points apiece for the Celts.
