Riyad Mahrez has been magnificent for Leicester this season, scoring 13 goals and assisting nine in the Premier League.

He’s been instrumental in the Foxes’ unlikely title charge, where they sit three points clear of Manchester City who are in second place.

So how does the Algerian prepare for a big Premier League clash?

By stretching thoroughly?

By listening to inspirational music to get him in the zone?

By just sitting in the corner, picturing how he’s going to cut onto his left-foot and score?

He shows off his impressive ‘round the world’ skills in the changing room.

In the video, as you can see below, his teammates are busy getting ready for their match while the winger completes seven consecutive ‘round the worlds’ in his socks in the middle of the room.

Leicester centre-back Wes Morgan shared this brilliant video on Twitter with the caption “TBT (Throw-back Thursday) how @Mahrez22 warms up for games.”

Mahrez signed for Claudio Ranieri’s side in January 2014 for just £350,000 from French side Le Havre.

He helped Leicester gain promotion to the Premier League during the second half of the season, scoring three goals in 19 matches.

Last season Mahrez went relatively unnoticed despite playing 30 times in the Premier League and scoring four times, playing a key role in Leicester’s miraculous escape from relegation.

But it was only this season that everyone started to sit-up and take notice of the 24-year-old.

Terrorising defences with his ridiculous skills, whipping in crosses for the lethal Jamie Vardy and scoring 13 goals in 23 Premier League matches, Mahrez has been simply outstanding this campaign and is deservedly receiving the plaudits.
