Golden State Warriors vs Oklahoma City Thunder: Previewed

Published 1 Comments

This week’s game to watch falls somewhat unsurprisingly in the western conference, with the Golden State Warriors playing host to Kevin Durant’s Oklahoma City Thunder. In any other season the Thunder’s 38 for 13 record would have made them favourites for most games - not, as it happens, in this one. No, the Warriors are back to winning ways with a streak of eight victories in a row - they boast a 45 for 4 record and right about now looks like the worst time to play them. Steph Curry hit 51 points during the win over the Wizards and the only scare they’ve had recently came against the unlikely Sixers. Of course, the Thunder shouldn’t be written off altogether - they’ve won five on the bounce themselves and have only lost once in their last nine. All the same, even Russell Westbrook and Durant combined should struggle to keep pace with the Warriors at the Oracle Arena - yes, it’s conventional, but Golden State are looking literally unstoppable.
