There's no stopping Leicester City right now. Claudio Ranieri’s side stunned the Etihad on Saturday afternoon as they comfortably beat title rivals Manchester City by three goals to one.

Incredibly, Leicester, who were bottom of the table just over one year ago, are now dreaming of landing the title this season.

Indeed, the Foxes currently sit at the summit of the division - five points ahead of north London duo Arsenal and Tottenham.

With just 13 games remaining, Leicester City really are in the hunt. In fact, after yet another sparkling performance this past weekend, they have started to pick up the favourites tag.

Well, one man certainly believes that Premier League pace-setters are in pole position to secure the prestigious honour this term.

Pique claim

Barcelona star Gerard Pique, who himself is involved in a title battle in La Liga, has declared Ranieri’s side as 'favourites', insisting that it would be great if they won it.

Taking to Twitter, the former Manchester United defender stated: "They are the favourite now! Winning at the Etihad showed they are a strong team. It would be great if they win it!"

It really is on

Pundits, fans and players are starting to realise that Leicester are the real deal. They may well be in dreamland, but they just aren't showing any signs of slowing down.

With an incredible spine and the likes of Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez producing some sensational stuff, Leicester really could get their hands on the trophy.

Ranieri and co. have been cool, calm and collected throughout the course of the campaign and they just have to stay that way for another three months.
