Wojciech Szczesny set for Arsenal return this season

Published 2 Comments

The future of Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has been determined - well, that’s to say he won’t be staying at Roma past the end of this season. The Italian giants have agreed a deal to sign Brazilian stopper Alisson, thus negating their need to keep Szczesny for longer than the year-long loan deal they agreed with Arsenal last summer. What that means for his future is anyone’s guess, and we certainly can’t see him ousting Petr Cech anytime soon. Is he too proud to serve as a backup stopper? Let us know your thoughts. Meanwhile, Leicester City’s head of technical scouting, Ben Wrigglesworth, has confirmed he has joined Arsenal on the eve of the top-of-the-table clash between the two sides. Wrigglesworth confirmed the move on social media - he helped unearth gems such as Riyad Mahrez for the Foxes.
