Philippe Coutinho returned to the Liverpool starting lineup for his first appearance since January 5 following a hamstring strain. He was one of ten changes in an experimental team for the FA Cup replay.

Having missed ten games, the Brazilian playmaker could have been excused for not being at his brilliant best. But Coutinho doesn't need excuses, he just needs a ball and a wall of hapless defenders in front of him.

With Liverpool trailing going into the second half, Coutinho would have felt the pressure when he stood over a dead ball in the 48th minute form 25-yards out. Any normal person would. Anything other than shot on target would have drawn groans from the travelling Liverpool fans.

Coutinho didn't just score the resulting free-kick, but did something completely and utterly audacious in the process. Skimming the ball of the surface, the ball comically rolled under the feet of the jumping West Ham wall and rolled nonchalantly into the net. Cue pandemonium on Twitter.

Here's the goal

As it stands, the game is going into extra time with the scores tied at 1-1. Daniel Sturridge, also returning from injury, is on but the game is certainly falling in West Ham's favour. Nervous times.
