Leicester stars Riyad Mahrez and N’Golo Kante are itching to play Arsenal so badly they decided to simulate the outcome of the game using FIFA 16.

The Premier League’s first- and third-placed teams meet on Sunday in a game that could tilt the title race in either team’s favour.

Ahead of the game, the Leicester duo took on the guys at Copa90 to predict the winner of Sunday’s game.

Fortunately for Mahrez and Kante, two of the Foxes’ most important players this season, Leicester emerged victorious thanks to a 2-1 comeback win.

Mahrez’s character even grabbed the winner after Shinji Okazaki cancelled out Olivier Giroud’s opener.

Leicester will extend their lead over the Gunners to eight points if they win at the Emirates Stadium.

It’s a far cry from Leicester’s situation this time last year. Then managed by Nigel Pearson, the Foxes were bottom of the table after 31 games and survived after winning seven of their last nine games.

Check out the video of Mahrez and Kante taking on Arsenal:

I'm happy

Mahrez was asked how it felt to avoid relegation, to which the winger replied: “It was so difficult [to stay up]. That’s why I’m happy, because we’re playing for something else.”

The Algeria international scored City’s second goal in their 3-1 shock win at Manchester City last weekend and he admitted that he deserves an upgrade on his FIFA ratings after his remarkable season.

He said: “I think they have to give me more, you know? I deserve more.”

It’s hard to argue with that. Mahrez has scored 15 goals in all competitions this season and has assisted 10 goals.

Kante’s influence in Leicester’s climb to the top is also impossible to undervalue. The 24-year-old, a £6 million signing last summer from Caen, has been superb in his box-to-box role.
