Barcelona star Dani Alves believes that Arsenal fail to win the Premier League title because they don't have the right mixture of youth and experience.
The Brazilian international, who has enjoyed a great deal of trophy success at Camp Nou, has insisted that Arsene Wenger's side 'sometimes lack maturity' because they are so young.
Arsenal, of course, haven't won the title since 2004 but are currently fighting alongside the likes of Leicester City, Manchester City and Tottenham for the prestigious honour this season.

But Alves isn't entirely convinced that the north London outfit have what it takes to end their drought in England's elite division.
"Being such a young team they sometimes lack maturity and the experience that’s necessary to get to the line," he told The Times.
"In the Premier League they start well, but it costs them more to maintain that level and get titles. They treat the ball very well and are very organised, tactically, but there is not a mixture of youth and experience.
"The young people want to attack but there are times when you have to control the game."
Champions League showdown
Arsenal's current focus may well be on the Premier League - they play host to table-toppers Leicester on Sunday - but they will already be preparing for the huge Champions League showdown against Alves' Barcelona.
The Gunners will go into the game as underdogs but will be determined to secure a positive result in the first-leg as they play host to the Catalans. A victory in the opening game could give Wenger's side the confidence to go to Barcelona and claim what would be one of the best victories in their history.
