Saturday night's NBA All-Star offerings might just go down as some of the best ever.

From Karl Anthony-Towns' heroic efforts in the Skills Challenge, to the Splash Brothers going head-to-head from the three-point line the night was already a success before the 2016 Dunk Contest had even got underway.

When it did, Aaron Gordon of the Orlando Magic and returning champion Zach LaVine put on a show for the ages at the Air Canada Center to cap an awesome night of entertainment. Here are the 'Top 10' plays of the night, via the NBA's official YouTube channel.

Afte what Gordon and LaVine put forward, it is unsurprising that the second-year duo dominate the run down. Their dual is already being talked about as the greatest in Dunk Contest history.

LaVine acknowledged his opponent's efforts as he accepted his second dunk title in as many years, saying he wanted to share the crown with Gordon.

Klay Thomspon, the eventual winner of the three-point contest, does sneak into the list thanks to his efforts against fellow Warriors star Steph Curry. Thompson's 27 points was enough to beat his teammate, who registered 23.

The NBA have also released previously unseen 'Free D' dunk contest footage:
