Sports Illustrated have made history by making plus-size model Ashley Graham one of their three cover stars.
Graham joins American model Hailey Clauson and UFC fighter Ronda Rousey on the three covers, representing three different body types.
The 28-year-old wrote on Instagram after the news was unveiled: "Truly speechless!!! This cover is for every woman who felt like she wasn't beautiful enough because of her size. You can do and achieve anything you put your mind to. Thank you so much to the entire @si_swimsuit team! I'm so excited to be a part of your family. I love you all!!!"
Sports Illustarted assistant managing editor MJ Day added: "The three covers of Hailey, Ronda and Ashley celebrate the new SI Swimsuit.
"All three women are beautiful, sexy and strong. Beauty is not cookie cutter. Beauty is not 'one size fits all.' Beauty is all around us and that became especially obvious to me while shooting and editing this year's issue."
Rousey features on the Sports Illustrated front cover in body paint, months after she was deposed as champion by Holly Holm.
The 29-year-old is now taking a break from the sport to pursue a career in film, although has hinted she would return to the sport at some point in the future - however that won't be until August at the earliest because of her involvement in the film Road House.
"The filming of the movie got pushed back," UFC president Dana White said. "She could do both, but the question is, should she do both? She could do both, but why should she? The filming is in a time frame where she'd finish before [UFC] 200, but it would be cutting it too close.
