Zinedine Zidane gave all of his players a hug before their match against AS Roma

A video has emerged showing the affection between Zinedine Zidane and his Real Madrid players.

Filmed before their Champions League clash against AS Roma, the footage shows the club legend standing inside the changing room hugging each of his players before they take to the field.

The 49 second clip - uploaded by the official Real Madrid YouTube channel - perfectly encaptures the management style of the Frenchman.

The 43-year-old has been in charge at the Bernabeu for seven matches and has began life as a boss brilliantly, with six wins and a draw.

And the players at the club clearly love their new boss as you can see in the video below.

Many stars have expressed their delight at Zidane’s style of management and how much they’re enjoying their football.

When Cristiano Ronaldo scored in the match against the Italians, he ran over to the dugout for his second embrace of the night with his manager.

However, Madrid managers are judged on their success and Zidane's only realistic chance of winning a trophy this campaign comes in Europe as they are seven points adrift of an irresistible Barcelona side.

You certainly couldn’t imagine former Madrid boss Rafa Benitez doing this kind of gesture ahead of a match. Many players that have played under the Spaniard criticised his man management skills while Steven Gerrard branded him as “cold.”

Zidane isn’t the first manager to enjoy a big hug with his players, of course. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is often seen on the pitch at the end of the match giving his players a great big bear hug.
